Be Yourself

When the whole world thinks you ugly
Remember the whole world is often quite wrong
-So proudly perform your soliloquy
Over the static song of the throng

And as for all of your irregularities,
Cherish and keep them quite dear
-Odd flaws are worth more than common vanities
And courage is stronger than fear

Perform, Perform your soliloquy
Over the arch of the patient trees
And let it join the sound of the quiet
and the buzzing of bustling bees

A child of the heavens are You
Blessed, just as the moon and each star
The sun does not darken his light
So shine and Be Who You Are

So very often there is the pressure to change ourselves, to compromise our essence, to ignore/deny our Individual and Unique calling ..It is often much easier to' tone ourselves down', to 'lighten up', to' blend in'. In fact we are taught to do this from the day we are born.
..
But not being true to our essence denies the world of brilliance and ... See Moreillumination. We walk around like darkened , smothered suns..countering the Creative command of 'Fiat Lux/ Let there be Light !'
To fulfill our collective destiny as humanbeings, and the destiny of the whole of creation, we must , by any means necessary , against all odds Be Who We are Made to Be and shed our unique light in what will otherwise remain a dark world .
