Many of us know that 'Life is a journey' , yet few of us know where this journey ought to lead. For this reason, we can tend to travel on lifes journeyu and feel 'lost because we do not know exactly where it ought to lead. The journey of Life ought to lead us to Love. Some of us arrive at the destinations of fame, wealth, beauty, but we arrive at a banquet filled with plastic food - these things cannot sustain or nourish us. Only Love can.
Love is the force in the universe that must be given.
Imagine it as a little drop of sunlight in the heart of every being.
Imagine it as a little spark of Divine Light that gives Life to Everything. Love lies dormant within us as a seed, until we make the CONSCIOUS act of giving it.
Conscious? But don't we just 'fall in love' by surprise? Love that is not Conscious is not really Love and is infatuation, or some other feeling that makes 'us' feel good when we are in a union. Love is the Conscious act of giving your Divine light to Another, even when it is difficult, inconvenient, impractical, expensive, bothersome. Love is the gift that makes you give up a part of your very self to someone else.
The Marriage of SoulMates must be when the two parties are selfless , each completely devoted to the joy of the Other, in such a union, there is no need to be selfish or to think about your own interests first: you know and trust that the Other person is looking after them for you, as you look after theirs, with no wish for reward other than the act of Love itself.
We must realize that we are One with the Universe, that Love is all there Is, that we are created to Love, by Love and that we ARE Love. Then we must Consciously Love ourselves, our partners, our families, our world- selflessly, gracefully.
Love Says : I can be there for you , in the way that you want me to be there, I am AT YOUR SERVICE .
Why do so many of us not feel able to give this Love? Because we do not trust it, we think that if we give, we will have nothing left. But we do not see that we are loved by default by Everything around us, by God who fills us with an ocean when we give a drop.
Love is the highest expression of faith.
Have faith to Love , realize your Self by being selfless....
